To assist you in creating your first “Product Proposal”, here is a practical guide where you can find all the necessary information.
Login
To access your account as a designer, go to this link https://mcvr.shop and click the login button.
When the login interface opens, enter your credentials.
Creating a Product Proposal
Once you are in your “Dashboard”, click on “Create Product Proposal”.
Fill in the following details
Product Name: The title of the product;
Product Description: A technical description of how the 3D model was built;
Price range: Section where you can suggest a price range to the site team for assigning the sales price.
These price ranges are available: Low Range from €150 to €199; Mid range from €199 to €799; High range from €799 to €1500; Top of the range from €1500 upwards
Gbl file: Section in which a .gbl file must be loaded, containing it in a .zip file – The weight must not exceed 50Mb!
Main Product Image: The main image that will appear in the shop;
Product Image Gallery: A gallery of images showing different angles of the 3D model, 3 wireframe images (front, side, and isometric views), and rendered images.
File Upload: The section where you upload the file (strictly in .zip format) containing the necessary files for the processing and use of the 3D model by the purchasing designer. The zip file should include an .fbx file and the texture files.
*Instructions for effective compression of the .zip file: The system supports all compressed files with “.zip” and “.7zip” formats and with a maximum weight of 800Mb. To create an optimized file of this type it is advisable to use free programs such as 7zip (https://www.7-zip.org/download.html) which are available for both Microsoft PCs and Mac devices. Similar programs are also good. Below is a screenshot with the best settings for optimal compression!
Video File: The section where you can upload a video resource, no larger than 20MB, which can be displayed and played on the product page in the MCVR store. The recommended format is .mp4.
After clicking the “Create Product Proposal” button, the product sheet will be saved on the portal under the status “Pending Approval” and will not yet be visible to the public (as it requires approval from the master designer). At this stage, the product proposal can be modified by clicking the pencil icon in the summary sheet of products uploaded by the logged-in user.
Once the Product Proposal is approved by the evaluation team, it will be published and made available for purchase in the store.
It is important to keep in mind that once the Product Proposal is made public, it cannot be deleted!
To log out of your designer account, simply click the appropriate button at the bottom of the page.
